Dr. Bryan R. Salminen was born in Lansing Michigan. He received the B.A. degree from
Concordia Ann Arbor, the M.Div. degree from Concordia Seminary St. Louis Missouri, the
M.Ed. degree from Michigan State and the University of Toledo, the Ph.D. degree from St. Louis
University. He has also done post-doctoral work at Washington University. He is a licensed
professional counselor, a licensed marriage and family therapist and a clinical member of the
American Association of Marriage and Family therapy. He served parishes in Ohio and Illinois.
He also served as professor of psychology at Concordia University, Ann Arbor and professor of
pastoral counseling at Concordia Seminary before serving as pastor at Emmanuel Lutheran,
Cadillac Michigan. He has authored numerous articles as well as two books. No Ordinary Men
was originally published by Concordia Publishing House in 2000 and he has a new book on
Divorce published by the Lutheran Laymen's league. He has taught in Brazil, Germany,
Cambridge England and Latvia. He and his wife Casey are co-founders, developers of Zoe
(www.zoescore.com) an on-line premarital counseling program. Dr. Salminen and Casey have
three children, Lauren, David and Michael. |
